Government Digital Services
Singapore Personal Access (SingPass)
Singapore Personal Access (or SingPass) allows you to transact with over 60 Government agencies online easily and securely.
Managed by the Government Technology Agency (GovTech), the SingPass system is continually enhanced to include an improved user interface, mobile-friendly features and stringent security measures to ensure users’ transactions accessed via the SingPass services remains protected. This includes implementing the 2-Factor Authentication (also known as 2FA) that involves a 2-step identity verification process for more secure logins.
2FA is required to perform transactions involving sensitive data, such as viewing CPF statements and filing taxes. You can choose to register for SingPass Mobile, OneKey Token, SMS 2FA, or a combination of these options.
Note: Only Singapore-registered mobile numbers can be used to register for SMS 2FA.
SingPass Mobile
Launched in October 2018, the SingPass Mobile app is a new 2FA mode that offers a more convenient and faster way to log in. To access a government digital service, users scan a QR code on the login page with SingPass Mobile’s QR code scanner, then verify their identity using their fingerprint or 6-digit passcode. For logins on a mobile device, tapping the QR code on the login page will launch SingPass Mobile automatically. Users will not need to enter long passwords or worry about misplacing their physical tokens.
If you have set up 2FA (SMS 2FA or OneKey token)
If you are residing (or travelling) overseas, we recommend that you download the SingPass Mobile app for fuss-free logins using your smartphone. You no longer have to wait for an SMS-OTP to be delivered to your registered mobile number or carry your physical token around.
SingPass Mobile is available for download from official app stores, i.e. App Store for iOS devices and Play Store for Android devices. For more information, refer to the Frequently Asked Questions, read the Instructional Guides, or check out www.SingPassMobile.sg .
If you have not set up 2FA
If you have not set up your 2FA, simply install the SingPass Mobile app and register for 2FA. A PIN mailer will be sent to your registered mailing address within 10 working days (subject to overseas postal delays). Follow the instructions in the PIN mailer to complete the app setup, and you’re done!
Note: All SingPass correspondence will be sent to your mailing address registered with the Immigrations and Checkpoints Authority of Singapore (ICA).

If you are still living in Singapore and prefer using a OneKey token, we recommend that you register for a SingPass account and set up your OneKey token one (1) month before you leave Singapore.
